Acts
The book of Acts is both timeless and timely; unrepeatable, yet exemplary. The church of Jesus Christ in the 21st century is fundamentally not different than the church of the 1st century, however, we live and work and worship in a unique time and place. So how can we learn from the book of Acts and from those who gave their lives to proclaim that ‘Jesus is Lord’ in a world that was at times curious and at times hostile? How can we follow in their footsteps and not misstep? How can we be Spirit-filled witnesses to the end of the earth?
As Living Stone Church trusts the Lord to branch out and plant a church in Stevens Point in the near future, we hope and pray that we will be challenged, encouraged, and guided by the Lord through a deep dive into the Book of Acts. May the word of the Lord continue to increase and prevail mightily (Acts 19:20)!
